Adventure Holidays In Egypt |
Egypt is a land where coral-rich reefs, white sandy beaches, lofty mountains and arid deserts merge seamlessly with mysterious ancient monuments and shadowy archaeological sites. The Nile , the world's longest river, flows through Egypt on its way to the Mediterranean Sea , but most of Egypt is a convergence of deserts. The highest lands are in the south where rocky outlooks slope gently toward the Mediterranean Sea, but it is the Sinai Peninsular that adventure travellers return to time and again. A triangular area of sandy coastal plains and impressive mountains where adventurous travellers head inland, it is also the setting for the warm waters of the Red Sea, an underwater playground of exquisite coral reefs and multi-coloured fish.
ADVENTURE SPORTS IN EGYPT
From the coral ridges of the Straits of Tiran to Ras Mohammed park, the peaceful waters of the southern coast of Sinai lays claim to some of the world’s most amazing dive sites. White sandy beaches with consistent winds year-round can’t be beat for kite surfing and wind-surfing, and if water-skiing is your thing, you won’t be disappointed.
