Adventure Holidays In Finland
Finland is the seventh largest country in Europe , and a land where lush, dense forests are speckled with countless ponds and lakes, while undulating hills and jagged cliffs add variety. Approximately 65 per cent of Finland ’s surface area is forested. The north has coniferous forests, streams and open country; central Finland is defined by its many lakes; the east has forests and deep gullies; and the south, though more densely populated, still offers forests and coastline. Finland 's highest point, the Halti, rises 1328m above sea level but it’s the treeless uplands that are a true delight for those with a passion for the outdoors.
