Adventure Holidays In Malaysia

Malaysia is divided into two distinct parts: Peninsular Malaysia and the East Malaysian provinces of Sabah and Sarawak in North Borneo . Peninsular Malaysia accounts for 40% of the country's land mass and numerous mountain ranges run through it. Wide, abundant plains cover the west coast, while a slim coastal plain covers the east. Dense jungles with large river systems cover Sabah and Sarawak , while Mt Kinabalu in Sabah is one of the highest peaks in southeast Asia, soaring above the rainforest at 4101m.

Malaysia ’s stunning beaches and rainforests are the main attraction for activity holidays, while Sabah is Malaysia ’s premier destination for outdoor adventure sports. The tropical waters off peninsular Malaysia and Borneo offer ideal conditions for diving with water visibility often greater than 30m, while national parks and wildlife reserves offer first-rate trails for hiking and trekking through jungle.
