kiteboarding
Beginner
The big air and amazing speed that can be obtained by kitesurfing makes it an exhilarating experience. If you're interested in finding out more about kitesurfing but don't know where to start, the best way to begin is to enrol on a short course of group or private lessons to see if kitesurfing is for you. Many private operators offer three-hour ‘primer courses’ that let you get safely acquainted with kitesurfing. If you enjoy your single-visit we strongly recommend that you enrol on a multiple-visit course.
Intermediate
If you already have a solid foundation of kitesurfing, there are many ways you can develop your technique. Most intermediate lessons will focus on learning how to get bigger air, and new kitesurfing techniques for ocean or wave riding. There is usually the opportunity to take lessons privately as well as part of a group, giving you the opportunity to hone specific skills such as learning new tricks that you may be interested in.
Advanced
If you’re an ambitious intermediate or advanced kitesurfer striving to break through to the next level, honing your skills with a qualified instructor means you’ll be able to fine tune those stylish tricks and work on technique so you can ride harder and longer. Many advanced kitesurfing lessons combine video analysis with a personalised profile to improve your performance in all areas, and with expert guidance, you’ll be able to master techniques and tricks you may not have even known about. If you enjoy kitesurfing so much that you’re considering becoming a snowboarding instructor, we recommend that you take an Instructor Training Course to gain teaching experience as well as technical improvements.
